Gomba Agricultural Exhibition 2026 Brings Farmers Together Across the Entire Agricultural Value Chain

Gomba Agricultural Exhibition 2026 Brings Farmers Together Across the Entire Agricultural Value Chain

Gomba District, Uganda | 15–17 September 2026

The Gomba Agricultural Exhibition 2026, organised by Gomba Ssaza in partnership with Gomba District Local Government, is bringing farmers, agricultural stakeholders, innovators, traders and other value-chain actors together for three days of learning, networking and business opportunities.

Running from 15th to 17th September 2026, the exhibition provides a platform to mobilise and strengthen farmer participation across the entire agricultural value chain—from production and processing to value addition, marketing and consumption.

The exhibition is designed to showcase the potential of agriculture in transforming livelihoods while encouraging farmers to adopt innovative, productive and sustainable farming practices. Participants have an opportunity to interact with agricultural service providers, learn about improved technologies and explore practical approaches to increasing productivity and household incomes.

A key focus of the exhibition is market access. Farmers are being encouraged to look beyond production and consider the broader value chain, including quality standards, post-harvest handling, processing, packaging, value addition and access to reliable markets.

The exhibition also provides space for agricultural innovators and service providers to demonstrate technologies and solutions that can support farmers in responding to emerging challenges and improving the efficiency of agricultural production.

Through farmer-to-farmer learning, exhibitions, demonstrations and stakeholder engagement, the event seeks to strengthen collaboration among farmers, government institutions, private-sector players, development partners and other agricultural stakeholders.

The partnership between Gomba Ssaza and Gomba District Local Government underscores the importance of coordinated efforts in promoting agriculture as a driver of socio-economic development in the district.

As farmers and stakeholders converge for the three-day exhibition, the event serves as a platform to learn, connect, innovate and build stronger agricultural value chains that can contribute to sustainable livelihoods and improved economic opportunities for communities across Gomba.

The Gomba Agricultural Exhibition 2026 is more than an exhibition—it is a platform for connecting farmers to knowledge, innovation, markets and opportunities across the agricultural value chain.
