Gomba Budget Speech FY 2026/27

Presented on 18th March 2026 by Hon. Zinabala Joyce N., Secretary Finance, Planning and Administration, on behalf of the District Chairperson.

The proposed budget was *UGX 30.037 billion*, up from UGX 27.908 billion in FY 2025/26. It was funded mainly by Conditional Transfers UGX 24.29B (80.9%), Discretionary Transfers UGX 3.97B, Local Revenue UGX 858M, Other Transfers UGX 825M, and Donors UGX 97M.

In FY 2025/26, only 74% was received - Local Revenue 57%, Donor 0%.

Priorities follow NDP IV and the theme: _Full Monetization through Commercial Agriculture, Industrialization, Services, Digital Transformation and Market Access._

Largest allocations: Education UGX 13.68B, Administration UGX 4.95B, Health UGX 4.67B, Production UGX 1.75B, Water UGX 1.17B.
