*GOMBA DISTRICT LG HOLDS GENERAL STAFF MEETING*

Today, Gomba District Local Government convened a general staff meeting targeting all staff at the District Headquarters, Lower Local Governments (LLGs), Head teachers, and In-charges of Health Facilities.

The meeting focused on strengthening accountability, service delivery, and institutional performance across all sectors. Key issues discussed included:

1️⃣ General staff attendance to duty and performance management

2️⃣ Roles and functions of staff in the public service

3️⃣ Dissemination of government policy directions for effective service delivery, including the new contributory pension scheme

4️⃣ Local revenue collection and sound financial management

5️⃣ Streamlining the planning function at the District, LLGs, Parishes, Schools, and Health Facilities

6️⃣ Proper asset management in public facilities

The engagement emphasized professionalism, compliance with public service standards, and coordinated planning to improve service delivery to the people of Gomba District.
